A traditionalist, Chief Sina Ajabanji has advocated the preservation and promotion of Yoruba cultural values.
He made the call during an interview in preparation for his installation as Balogun Isegun Agbaye holding in Obaagun, Ifelodun Local Government area of Osun state on Saturday.
The installation which is expected to be graced by Traditional rulers, traditional worshippers and chiefs in Yoruba land would be characterized by Ifa oratory, drama presentation and traditional rites of the coronation.
Chief Ajabanji said, the title would give him opportunity to coordinate activities of traditional worshippers in the state.
He said culture remains the symbol of identity, calling on Nigerians to preserve their culture for posterity.
The traditionalist maintained that if the Yoruba culture and traditions were promoted, it would go a long way to attract tourists to the nation and open the country socio-economic development.
He urged government to support stakeholders in the cultural sector, so as to serve as a source of revenue generation for the country.
